a hacker conference for kids

I attended Defcon (and BlackHat) a few years back.  Defcon was definitely worth seeing, and my kids thought it sounded cool.  rootz is a 'Defcon for kids'.  We've not been, but we've talked about it.  Might be a useful carrot to use someday.
