amazing robot spider
The Mythbusters are an awesome resource for introducing kids (and adults) to science. I found this nugget with Adam Savage. We have an RC quadcopter, a couple RC cars, and an arduino-based robotics platform. But none of them come close to the creepiness of this spider...
(So this isn't really a project either, but I'm not opposed to bribing my kids with cool toys like this if they're willing to build something cool...)
